We all could use a little change.

Hey y'all! I'm sorry I've been inactive for so long. Between working like a dog and sleeping, this is all I've managed to pop out within the last month.
Despite that, I've been thinking a lot lately, in regards to my place and role in the art world. Fair warning, ''real talk'' below.

I've never thought of myself a ''fine'' artist, or that I could ever be one. Because most of what inspires me comes from pre-existing media and stories,
I thought long and hard and concluded that a career in applied arts would be a much better fit for me. I made that decision a long time ago, and so far,
it has proven fruitful. But I've still wondered if I could ever pull off something completely from scratch, like all the artists, old and new, famous and not, 
that I've come to admire over the years. In other words, this was an experiment, to see what I could do simply with my own feelings and imagination.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't satisfied to a degree While I don't think that I would be happy restricting myself to this style and thematology
for my entire career, simple expression like this is something I will definitely be revisiting when I need it. I certainly look forward to that
